Not much has been said about Xbox on Windows 10, but there are a few things we should cover.

Microsoft caught the tech community off-guard today: by announcing the Surface 3, their new flagship tablet.
Just recently, Microsoft announced partnerships with many major Android OEMs, including Samsung and Dell, to preload Microsoft Office and Skype apps on many of their devices. This news, paired with Microsoft's announcement last week about testing Windows 10 for Phones on Xiaomi Android devices, reveals Microsoft's master plan to steal a fair amount of mobile market share from Google.
Kinect hit the market a number of years ago as an extra accessory for the Xbox 360. It wasn't very accurate, making it mostly a gimmick, but the technology has come a long way, even though it isn't very popular on the Xbox One. There must be some reason for Microsoft to keep developing this technology, right?
Microsoft yesterday released a very minor update to Windows 10: Build 10041. It brings minor enhancements to the cosmetic interface with some other little features, but still does not have things like Project Spartan. Let's see what those updates are. Start MenuFirst up, the start menu. It has been made transparent, just like many of the pictures Microsoft shows on its Windows Insider site. The Start Menu has also gained a nifty feature where you can drag apps from the left panel into the right side and make them live tiles quickly and efficiently. Task View and Virtual desktops Task view has now been updated so you can drag a window into a different virtual desktop, taking multitasking to another level. The taskbar is now filtered, so you only see the windows open in the virtual desktop you are currently using, and the same goes for an updated Alt+Tab. Internet updatesA new network fly out has been added, making choosing a network easier. Cortana also gains support for more countries, just like the Lumia Denim update for Windows Phones. Photos AppThe live tile for photos has been updated to show your OneDrive photos as well as local ones. There are also some new nifty shortcuts.
As for other enhancements, the handwriting input keyboard has been improved, but no sign of porting the Word Flow keyboard over from Windows Phone. The lock screen and Windows Insider app have also been updated. There are several fixes to Build 9926, as well as some known bugs. You can find the info about all of those here at the official blog post by Windows. Overall, nothing major has been added, such as a new music app or Project Spartan, but Windows 10 is steadily improving and is expected to start improving at a faster pace as the Windows team has mentioned faster releases of builds for the Fast ring. Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 10036 has been leaked, and steadily, new features are being discovered. One major feature found is the ability to update via peer-to-peer, or P2P, sharing. This allows users to grab updates from other PCs in their LAN or on the Internet, rather than directly from Windows Update. This will streamline the downloading of updates for both Microsoft and users. Microsoft strikes back hard against Apple's Touch ID and Samsung's fingerprinting with two new, innovative technologies, Windows Hello and Microsoft Passport.
The tech community has been buzzing about it all day: Cortana's coming to iOS and Android. What does this mean for the future of Cortana as an exclusive feature on Windows devices?
This is a concept of the Microsoft smart watch compared with the official super-popular Microsoft Band that was released late last year. The Microsoft Band wasn't everything we'd hoped for in a smart watch, as it was geared more as a fitness tracker than a wearable, but the second generation that could release with the launch of Windows 10 might be able to compete with the likes of the Apple Watch
Recently Microsoft posted on the Windows Blogs an article explaining exactly how the Universal App platform will work. Well, this platform, among other solutions Microsoft is incorporation, are set to supercharge the Windows and Windows Phone stores and boost the app numbers from around 500,000 combined to compete with the nearly 1.5 million apps the Google Play and Apple App Store each hold.
