Not much has been said about Xbox on Windows 10, but there are a few things we should cover. Most of XBox's announced features have been based on brining Windows and Xbox much closer together and making it easier to switch between platforms. GAME StreamingCROSS-Platform GamingDirectx12 on Windows 10 and XboxDirectX12 will improve the performance and efficiency of your PC and Xbox greatly, allowing for more intense gaming on your existing machine. Universal AppsThe USA Today universal app was demoed on the Xbox at /Build// 2015. It showed how developers could create a Universal App and then tailor the content available on each type of device. For example, the USA Today app on the Xbox only showed video content, while on the phone it showed articles, as well. CortanaAlthough Cortana on Xbox has not yet been officially announced, I had to put this in here. It's almost a given that Microsoft will bring the Halo- (Xbox Game!) inspired personal assistant to their game console. PCs, tablets, phones, and the HoloLens are all guaranteed to sport Cortana; she has not been announced on the Surface Hub or Xbox. However, considering that the Xbox One already has some built-in voice commands, I fully expect Cortana to appear on the Xbox. I personally do not have an Xbox, but with all these great additions to Microsoft's gaming console, I'm seriously tempted to purchase one. Tell us what you think of this article on Twitter and comment below on how Microsoft could make the Xbox even better!
